This re-designed Plastimo Danbuoy is a well proven and popular safety product.
It consists of a 3 part telescopic fibreglass pole with quick twist-lock mechanism, a soft PU float, an "Oscar" Man-Overboard flag (with clip to keep it furled when not in use) and 4m of floating rope to attach to a lifebuoy. The lower section of the pole has an encapsulated weight to keep it floating upright and the top has a socket for attaching a light. A stainless steel pushpit stowage bracket is available.
It extends to 3.5m (the image shows it collapsed), with 2.5m above water. (Length closed: 1.95m)
It complies with the specifications of the ISAF/ORC racing regulations.

This lifebuoy light complies with the L.S.A code capable of burning continuously with a luminous intensity of not less than 2cd in all directions of the upper hemisphere for a period of at least 2h (at white colour). CE approved to SOLAS (L.S.A Code) by Bureau Veritas.
SOLAS approved, 24 hour duration. The Tron lifebuoy light has a mercury switch and takes 3 x C size alkaline batteries, it comes complete with a mounting clip and lanyard.

The Lifelink system is designed to be permanently mounted to the pushpit in its own soft, easy to clean bag. The kit contains 50m of floating line attached to a sturdy buoyant PVC life sling and a personal retaning clip for added safety. Deployment is achieved by removing the lifelink, attachting to a secure point and throwing astern. Once in the water the vessel should circle the casualty allowing the life link to be towed to their aid. Rescue is completed when the casualty is safely clipped in to the lifelink and winched/ hauled aboard.
